Herts Explorers
Working under the umbrella of the NAGC, Herts Explorers is a local group giving gifted children an opportunity to meet together with like-minded young people, to explore issues and subjects of interest to them and to develop important life skills. Learn more. Hello Explorers, Our next meeting is on Sunday 20th May 2012. Join us for a hands on fun and educational Architecture Workshop with www.architectureworkshops.org. Our afternoon will be led by Rupal Nathwani, Animateur from Architecture Workshops. How high can you build a skyscraper? (Outdoors, weather permitting). Or indoors - can you design and build a bridge, a tower, an Olympic structure, geometric shapes? This event encompasses maths, problem solving, communication, listening, teamwork and imagination! Usual venue - St Teresa's, Borehamwood WD6 5HL - full details on About Us page on the website. Places will be £8.00 per child, £14.00 for two children, £18.00 for three children. As always, places booked but not taken will need to be paid for.
